Inner Glory – s/t – mcd – ltd 27 copies

Questo EP senza titolo è stato concepito come un promo, autoprodotto su CDr, dopo il precedente demo registrato in casa.
Solo 27 copie di questopromo furono stampate per regalarlo ad amici, riviste ed etichette.

La band era un trio a quel tempo:
Jonny B. – Chitarra e voce
David T. – Basso e chitarra
Daniel M. – Tastiere

Abbiamo anche assunto alcuni musicisti per le registrazioni e il violoncellista Piero B. è diventato poi un membro regolare della band.

Dopo un concerto dei Der Blutharsch a Vicenza abbiamo avuto la possibilità di incontrare Albin Julius e gli abbiamo dato una copia di quel promo,
sorprendentemente ci ha contattato dopo una settimana circa, dicendoci che gli sarebbe piaciuto pubblicare un 7 ”e un intero album sulla sua etichetta HauRuck!
Abbiamo quindi ri-registrato la canzone War Is Forever e Akasha per quel 7 “e il successivo album.

Dopo 20 anni da quel rilascio posso dire che è abbastanza originale e vero, con tutti i suoi difetti e ingenuità.
Quella registrazione ha mantenuto le vere intenzioni della band in quel momento più di quanto tutto sia stato pubblicato in seguito.
Eravamo poco più che ventenni, inesperti, e cercavamo di suonare musica seria con un sottofondo punk rock. Questo è tutto.

This untitled EP has been conceived as a promo, self released on CDr, following the earlier home recorded demo.
Only 27 copies of that promo were printed to give it away to friends, magazines and labels.

The band was a trio at that time:
Jonny B. – Guitar and Vocals
David T. – Bass and Guitar
Daniel M. – Keyboards

We hired some session musicians for the recordings and the cello player Piero B. became a regular member of the band.

After a Der Blutharsch gig in Vicenza we got the chance to meet Albin Julius and we gave him a copy of that promo,
surprisingly he contacted us after a week or so, telling us he would like to release a 7” and a full length over his label HauRuck!
Then we re-recorded the song War Is Forever and Akasha for that 7” and the full length afterwords.

To be honest after 20 years since that release I can tell it’s good and true enough, with all its flaws and naivety.
That recording kept the real intentions of the band at that time more than everything has been released later,
We were in our early 20’s inexperienced as fuck, trying to play serious music with a punk rock background. That’s it.
