Misery and Purity

The rise and fall of Doug.P has been clear to most of the observers and specially to all Death In June fans. Out of any doubt, Take Care and Control and Operation Hummingbird are last remarkable albums ever released by last one man band of DIJ. The strength and the criticism of the man behind, it’s definitely vanished in a soft chill out piano melody that whisper gently the classic leitmotiv of “traitor, honour, blood…” etc. Nothing of that is left after this statement:

“Both titles haven’t been available since 2007, when both were deleted from the Death In June catalogue due to an internal dispute. This has now been resolved.”

 We are glad of course that this dispute is now over (due Albin’s death of course).

We just wonder if every dispute should be ended this way. A lack of taste and elengance that can only match the latest cover album of DIJ made by Doug.P.
